Happy Earth Day 2026!

This Earth Day, we are proud to highlight the outstanding service of our Science National Honor Society students who participated in the Adopt‑A‑Beach initiative. Through this meaningful experience, students had the opportunity to step beyond the classroom and take direct action to protect our local environment. By cleaning and preserving our coastline, they demonstrated a strong commitment to environmental responsibility and community service.

The Adopt‑A‑Beach project allowed students to apply scientific thinking to real‑world challenges, while gaining a deeper understanding of the impact pollution has on ecosystems and wildlife. Working together, students practiced teamwork, leadership, and accountability as they collected debris, documented environmental data, and learned about sustainable practices.

This experience reflects the core values of the Science National Honor Societyβ€”scholarship, service, leadership, and integrityβ€”while inspiring students to become responsible global citizens. Their efforts help ensure cleaner beaches, healthier oceans, and a more sustainable future for generations to come.

We are incredibly proud of our students for making a positive difference and for leading by example. Earth Day reminds us that small actions, when taken together, can create lasting change. Thank you to our students for protecting our planet and serving our community with purpose and pride.
