The Elsik Cross Country Team delivered another outstanding performance, competing with determination, discipline, and Ram pride from the starting line to the finish!
A huge congratulations goes to our Freshman Boys, who finished as TEAM RUNNER-UP in the Freshmen Championship Division! This impressive achievement reflects the hard work, teamwork, and commitment these young athletes bring to every practice and competition.
Our Rams also earned several individual medals. Freshman Ashia Dalaziz placed 12th in the Varsity Girls division. In the Freshman Boys division, Kevin Suazo finished 13th, Diego Morales placed 17th, Arthur Reyes earned 22nd, and Kelvin Suazo finished 25th. Congratulations to each of these outstanding medalists!
The success continued as 24 Elsik runners achieved new personal records this week. Every PR represents early mornings, challenging workouts, steady improvement, and a willingness to keep pushing beyond previous limits. We are incredibly proud of each athlete who reached a new personal milestone.
We also celebrate Sebastian Hernandez, Daniel Sanchez, Diego Morales, and Angelique Torres for completing their first cross-country race. Taking that first step into competition requires courage, and crossing the finish line is an accomplishment worth celebrating!
This meet offered an exciting glimpse into the bright future of Elsik Cross Country. With a freshman team earning runner-up honors, a freshman medaling at the varsity level, and so many athletes achieving personal bests, the program continues to build tremendous momentum.
Your resilience, sportsmanship, and dedication continue to inspire our campus community. We cannot wait to see what this group accomplishes throughout the remainder of the season. Mighty Rams, keep racing forward!
