The Elsik Rams Cross Country Team delivered another outstanding performance at the Alief Cross Country Classic, combining a runner-up team finish, six medalists, dozens of personal records and two first-time competitors.
Elsik’s Freshman Boys captured second place in the Freshman Division, extending a strong season and showing the promise of this hard-working group.
Jose Galvan led the Varsity Boys with an 18th-place finish, while Ashia Dallaziz placed sixth among Varsity Girls. Freshman medalists included Arthur Reyes, sixth; Kevin Suazo, eighth; Kelvin Suazo, 13th; and Diego Morales, 14th.
The Rams also celebrated 52 personal records—33 by boys and 19 by girls—as athletes continued to improve through dedication and consistent effort.
A special welcome goes to Isabella Lara and Junior Alvarez, who competed in their first cross country meet. Their first race marks the beginning of what we hope will be a rewarding journey with the Rams.
Every meet gives Elsik runners another chance to grow, compete and encourage one another. The team’s medal-winning performances, steady improvement and freshman boys’ runner-up finish reflect the determination they bring to every race.
