Communities in Schools at Elsik High School helps connect students and families with support and resources. This fall, we’re sharing a little seasonal history: In medieval England, the season was called “harvest.” By the 16th century, people began using “fall,” a shorter way to refer to “the fall of the leaves.”
As we enjoy the beauty of autumn, we’re also reminded that letting go can make room for growth. Families seeking assistance can contact My Brother’s Keeper, West Houston Assistance Ministries, or Memorial Assistance Ministries. Communities in Schools is proud to support student success through connection, encouragement, and access to helpful community resources.
